JULIENNE TAYLOR

Julienne Taylor’s enchanting and captivating voice has raised comparisons with both Norah Jones and Eva Cassidy, but Julienne has her own unique and distinctive style infl uenced from her Scottish ancestry.

Julienne’s latest album, A Time For Love, a collection of original songs and new interpretations of love songs with a Celtic infl uence, has been accumulating impressive sales throughout S.E.Asia in 2009.

The musical journey of Julienne Taylor has been a long and winding road. Julienne left her home in Stirlingshire, Scotland as yet another teenage hopeful, convinced that fame and fortune were hers for the asking. Having arrived in London with dreams of sudden stardom she soon discovered it doesn’t quite happen like that, so she worked by day and wrote her songs by night while staying with friends in South London. Subsequent years working as a sound engineer and regularly singing six nights a week with blues and soul bands and as a backing singer for established artists helped Julienne along her path.

There will, no doubt be many more twists and turns on the long and winding road, but Julienne will take them all in her stride as her perseverance and talent are finally being rewarded with the growing success of her latest album and her live performances.
